Dr. Pouria Owtad brings compassion, expertise, and dedication to Diamondback Dentistry, proudly serving patients in North Phoenix and beyond. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Owtad earned his Bachelor of Science Honors (BHS) in Physiology from The University of Arizona, graduating with honors and earning recognition on the Dean’s list. His passion for healthcare led him to the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, where he completed his Doctorate in Dentistry along with a Certificate in Public Health.
With genuine enthusiasm for both the art and science of dentistry, Dr. Owtad prioritizes treating his patients like family. Diamondback Dentistry's private practice model allows Dr. Owtad and his team to offer precisely customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Driven by a commitment to patient care, he provides numerous specials and options specifically designed to help those without insurance receive essential dental care. His laser certification further expands his ability to deliver modern, comfortable, and efficient treatments.
Dr. Owtad remains actively involved in the dental community as a distinguished member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, and Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society. Fluent in Farsi, he enjoys connecting with a diverse patient community.

What if I have a dental emergency?
If you are having a medical emergney, please dial 911 and seek the help you need.
If you are having a dental emergency like a broken tooth, knocked out tooth, abscessed tooth or mouth / gum pain please call us directly to setup an appointment at 602-866-8183.
What are your office hours?
Monday - Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Friday - Sunday: Closed
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
Appointments must be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide timely notice or missing an appointment without notice will result in a no-show fee.
